Instructions:

  1. Boil Water: Start by boiling water. Allow it to cool slightly for about 30 seconds after boiling to reach the optimal temperature, around 200°F (93°C).

  2. Measure Coffee: Measure 1/4 cup (about 2 ounces) of Twigs Cafetière Coffee. If using Coffee Beans, use a coarse grind for French Press  to prevent over-extraction.

  3. Preheat the French Press: Pour a small amount of hot water into the French Press to preheat it. Swirl the water around and then discard it.

  4. Add Coffee Grounds: Place the coarsely ground coffee into the bottom of the French Press.

  5. Bloom the Coffee: Pour a small amount of hot water (just enough to saturate the grounds) over the coffee to bloom it. Allow it to sit for about 30 seconds to release gases.

  6. Pour the Remaining Water: Pour the remaining hot water evenly over the coffee grounds. Place the lid on the French Press, ensuring the plunger is all the way up.

  7. Steep: Let the coffee steep for about 4 minutes. Adjust the steeping time based on your taste preferences; a longer steeping time will result in a stronger brew.

  8. Plunge: After the steeping time, slowly press down the plunger to separate the coffee grounds from the liquid.

  9. Pour and Serve: Pour the brewed coffee into your mug, and if desired, add milk, sugar, or other flavorings according to your preference.

  10. Enjoy: Savor the rich and full-bodied flavors of the coffee using the French Press method.

Remember that the key to a great French Press coffee is using the right grind size and ensuring a proper steeping time. Feel free to adjust the coffee-to-water ratio and brewing time to suit your taste. Enjoy your French Press brew!
